Last Thursday, the 28th September 2017 saw the Newgrange Hotel in Navan host an evening of new food, wines and cocktails in their Bridge restaurant. On the night, guests were treated to the beautiful sounds of Cathal Dolan, enjoyed a sample of cocktails and wines from the new drinks menu, and savoured the amazing food on offer.
The Newgrange Hotel are the first to launch this exciting addition to their dining offerings. With an already fantastic reputation for their carvery lunch and function food, this menu enhances an already popular evening offering. From the confit of duck spring roll to the panko crusted aged brie, the starters will really get your taste buds tingling. The main courses offer beautifully creamy pasta’s, the old favourite fish and chips, selection of steaks and the Cusacks special 8oz Irish beef burger to name a few. Make sure to leave room for dessert as they offer a selection of gorgeous sweets as well.
There are 12 signature dishes that you will find across all three hotels with their new menus- The Newgrange Hotel, The Ardboyne Hotel and The Castle Arch Hotel. So if you are absolutely raving about the new Cusack 8oz beef burger in the Newgrange- you will find it in the Ardboyne and the Castle Arch menus too! Health conscious palates are also catered for here with beautiful Salads and healthy options available. The new wine and drinks menu will also impress with a full list of carefully selected wines, amazing cocktails and of course an impressive array of speciality gins and whiskeys.
Talking to the head chef of the Newgrange Hotel- Eddie O’Neill, this new menu is being welcomed by everyone. “We are really proud of this new menu here in the hotel. We have taken special care in sourcing as much of the ingredients locally and producing something special for our customers. We have gone all out and invested in beautiful new crockery and cutlery to compliment the food. The staff are delighted and have also got new uniforms so the excitement and buzz in the hotel can really be felt”. General Manager- Jim Carlton welcomed all the guests to the launch. “Its fantastic to see so many local people join us tonight and wishing us well with the new menu offering. We are really looking forward to the people of Navan, Meath and even further afield come and visit us and enjoy it”.
